UDMR is a first ever web based tool designed to facilitate rapid and uniform collection of data that can be used for identification of cases, risk factors, prevention and management of deafness in the state. It will also bring out regional differences in the study parameters and health care facilities. It will help in increasing collaboration of health care centers, thus improving data sharing, patient referral management, framing health policies in future and planning for research .
